Celebrate fall at the Ennis Pumpkin Patch & Hay Maze in historic Downtown Ennis, October 1–31. Enjoy a full month of fun—Hay Maze, Pumpkin Patch, carnival rides, live music, pumpkin painting, delicious food, unique shopping vendors, movie nights, and family-friendly activities all October long.

Calendar of Events

October 4, 2025: EHS Choir 

Ennis High School Choir will perform at the Hay Maze Amphitheatre at 10:30 AM. 

October 11, 2025: Movie Night ft. The Haunted Mansion

Pack your lawn chairs and favorite snacks, then settle in for The Haunted Mansion at the Hay Maze Amphitheatre. Showtime is 7 PM.

October 13, 2025: Craft Time with Ennis Library

The Ennis Public Library will host Craft Time at the Pumpkin Patch grounds from 10 - 11 AM. Bring the kids and enjoy making spooky and fun seasonal crafts together.

October 18, 2025: Live Music ft. Neon Prophets

Neon Prophets is a Fort Worth–based ’90s country cover band that knows how to bring the energy—taking dancing and denim seriously. Don’t miss your chance to scoot a boot and enjoy their live performance from 7:30 - 9 PM 

October 30 - November 1, 2025: Haunted Hay Maze

For three nights only, the Ennis Hay Maze transforms into a haunted adventure filled with thrills around every corner. Spirits and surprises await as you wind your way through the maze after dark. The Haunted Hay Maze will take place on October 30, October 31, and November 1 from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Admission is $5 (card only), and children ages five and under are free.

October 31 - Trunk or Treat 
The Greater Ennis Chamber of Commerce is hosting a downtown Trunk or Treat from 6-9pm.

Ennis Pumpkin Patch & Hay Maze — FAQ

Where is it located?
The Ennis Pumpkin Patch and Hay Maze are located in historic Downtown Ennis, across from the Ennis Welcome Center at 302 N. Dallas St.

Is there an entry fee?
No. Entry to the Pumpkin Patch and Hay Maze is free, and all events throughout October are also free admission. Food trucks and vendors set their own prices for food, drinks, and goods.

​

Are pets allowed?
Yes. The area is pet-friendly. Pets must remain on a leash at all times, and owners are required to clean up after their pets. Violations may result in fines.

​

Where can I park?
Free parking is available in front of the Hay Maze, and additional street parking can be found throughout Downtown Ennis.

​

Are restrooms available?
Portable restrooms are available on site. Visitors may also use the indoor restrooms at the Ennis Welcome Center during its operating hours.

​

What are the hours of operation?
Monday–Saturday: 9 AM – 9 PM
Sunday: 12 PM – 7 PM

​

When is it open?
The Pumpkin Patch and Hay Maze are open October 1–31.
