We've curated the ultimate guide for the Cinco de Mayo Celebration in Ennis, Texas! Our Cinco de Mayo celebration brings culture and traditions to life in the heart of downtown Ennis. This fifth annual celebration includes artists that will have the community dancing and singing. Visitors can also expect ballet folklorico performances, delicious food selections and unique local artisan vendors.  Ennis is a short drive from the Dallas-FortWorth metroplex (35 miles south of Downtown Dallas on I-45), just a day-trip away!

Get ready to enjoy live music, food, shopping vendors, beer, and more!


Admission

Admission prices are $5 for adults; kids 12 and under are free. Admission is by credit or debit card only. No pre-sale tickets. Purchases at gate only.


Event Schedule

There will be no shortage of live music with La Buena Herencia performing as the headliner as well as Group Signno. These artists will have the community dancing all over downtown. Visitors can also expect traditional ballet folklorico performances, delicious authentic food selections and local artisan vendors.  Check out the full music schedule below.

Eat & Shop

This festival brings a variety of vendors to dine and shop with. You can also shop local merchants in our picturesque downtown! Learn more about historic Downtown Ennis and get the map here. You can also head to the Downtown Ennis Bluebonnet Market on Saturdays from 8 am-12 pm and shop local vendors.

Check out the Spring into Czech Traveling Museum display in the Welcome Center all month long. Explore Downtown botiques and unique dining options.
