This August, the streets of Downtown Ennis will come alive with music, culture, and community during the highly anticipated return of Blues on Main. Hosted by Unity in the Community of Ennis, this two-day event celebrates the sounds of blues, R&B, gospel, and soul while bringing families and neighbors together in one of the most welcoming and vibrant festivals in the region.
Whether you’re tapping your foot to Texas blues, dancing to smooth R&B, admiring custom cars, or enjoying local food and vendors, Blues on Main 2025 offers a little something for everyone. The weekend is completely free to attend, with fee-based access to select experiences like the VIP Pavilion, food trucks, and more.
Saturday, August 30: Music, Motors, and Community Vibes
The festivities begin Saturday morning with a classic car show and health fair, and the energy only builds from there. As the sun sets, a lineup of powerhouse performers will take the stage to deliver blues and soul like only Texas can.

Throughout the day and evening, visitors can enjoy food trucks, artisan vendors, kids’ activities, and drinks from the Beverage Pavilion—all set against the backdrop of live music and the charm of downtown.
Sunday, August 31: Smooth Sounds and Soulful Vibes
Sunday brings a more laid-back atmosphere with a Gospel Brunch feel and performances from some of the region’s most powerful voices. It’s the perfect way to close out a weekend of community and culture.

Artist Spotlight: Meet the Sounds of Blues on Main 2025
Blues on Main brings together some of the most dynamic and soulful performers from across Texas and beyond. Get to know some of the artists lighting up Downtown Ennis this August:
Dempsey Crenshaw, with vocals “as warm and pleasing as freshly baked bread” (Texas Music News) and harmonica skills that stir the soul, delivers blues with heart. A skilled harp player and frontman of DC & The Capitols, his set promises raw emotion and masterful musicianship.
