Thanks for covering the practical side of this topic. I recently used MonTeams to organize possible team members before testing a lineup, and it was a useful example of a site keeping the main action easy to find.
I was totally going to check out that bike parade at Minnie McDowal Park on June 28th, but honestly I keep second-guessing myself - did you mean localhost when I tried to look up shuttle times from Lions Memorial Stadium? The free rides starting at 5:45 PM sound perfect for a family day out, especially with all those fireworks and Texas Country Band playing live. Maybe I should've just typed the right URL instead of some weird locallhost typo and wasted 20 minutes troubleshooting!
The 9:00 decorating session at Minnie McDowal Park is the part families should not skip, since the Red, White & Bike Parade lines up half an hour later and supplies run out. Handy that the Bluebonnet Market overlaps the morning, so shopping fits before noon. Ending at Veterans Memorial Park with music and fireworks rounds it off well. My kids will be playing Sprunki Pyramixed in the car on the way over.
